me

My Approach

I think the fundamental task of a journalist is to speak truth to power.

That's a large task, but I still want to try. Perhaps naively, I haven't lost my desire to make the world a better place. Whether that is through talking about corruption, investigative reporting, profiling heros or telling a restaurant owner that pan de molde shouldn't be translated as moldy bread- I am satisfied.

I believe in professionalism, good grammar, well-researched facts and the power of words.

My Story

Born and raised in the middle of Canada, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

An extremely curious person, I became obsessed with learning, travel and new experiences. After stints in Ottawa, India and the UK, I am now based in Madrid. I've been here for about six years.

My Experience

Below are some highlights of my incredible long CV. Since I was young I've also worked as a janitor, cashier, hostess, jewelry salesperson, shipper/receiver and English teacher.
